Our client contacted Credit Protection Association to ask for validation of the alleged debt and to inform Credit Protection Association that she did not owe the alleged account.  Instead of sending the required notice, Credit Protection Association, LP contacted our client an additional time to attempt to collect the alleged debt. This action is in violation of the FDCPA. New York Creditor Harassment Attorney Jason Shear then sued Credit Protection Association, LP under the FDCPA and obtained a confidential settlement for our client.
